Welcome to Stephenson Court Care Home, our modern purpose built Home situated in the quiet residential area of Forest Hall, where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist Nursing support to general assistance with everyday living. Some stay with us on a permanent basis whilst others stay for short periods of time.

We offer Nursing care as well as Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.

All of our private bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are decorated to a high standard.

Relaxing Areas

Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges. They watch television or perhaps listen to music or have some reading time. They also enjoy our landscaped garden with a patio and colourful flower beds. All of these areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

Activities

Our Residents get very involved in planning our programme of events along with our Activities Co-ordinator. These include arts and crafts, baking and gentle gardening as well as quizzes and musical events. We encourage a mix of individual and group activities and we produce a weekly programme to keep Residents and families informed of up and coming events. We organise regular outings to local attractions, shopping centres and the beach.

Food & Drink

We have highly nutritious and varied menus and cater for all dietary and cultural needs. All of our food is prepared using fresh ingredients every day in our kitchens. Our dining rooms are warm and welcoming. The tables are laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

Residents can choose to have their meals in their own room or in our dining room depending on how they feel. We encourage friends and family to join us for meals or afternoon tea anytime.

How to find us

Stephenson Court Care Home is easily reached from the A19 by car. Benton metro station is a short distance away and there is a regular bus service from Newcastle city centre that stops close by.
